Moments of illumination. So now some pundits and politicians are looking at 8 million purple forefingers and asking themselves if maybe Bush was right. So . . . if successful Iraqi elections mean that Bush was right, and they have previously not wanted to give Bush credit about anything . . . does that mean they really were hoping for the elections to fail?

I don't mean the moonbats; we know they want anything to fail that could make Amerikkka and Rethuglikkkans look good. I mean all the sober good-hearted purveyors of public policy who think they believe in freedom and democracy. Look into your hearts, folks, and tell the truth.

Wow. Zell Miller's whipping boy Chris Matthews is making such a sharp turn he's going to give himself whiplash.
